Blue Tide Designs has one of the lowest minimums in the contract packaging and manufacturing industry on custom formulated products. Our minimums range from only 100* units on most items. Most contract manufacturing companies will require much larger minimums (5000+ units) but with us you can have what you want with a minimal investment. Our typical lead-time is only 4 to 6 weeks depending on the job and its parameters. Expedited production runs can be completed with a minimal of additional cost. If you simply want your own products filled in your own supplied containers, there is no minimum order quantity. Please call for a quote.
We can create a custom formulated product from your specifications or you can use one of our high quality products. You can customize our stock products with your choice of scents, extracts and colorants. Using your own label design, you can create your own brand personalized to your business. We have a team of Graphics Design professionals that will help with your labels if you choose. Our filling and packaging capabilities allow us to fill a wide range of viscosities from creams and pastes to liquids and gels in almost any type of container. Once the packaging type has been selected for your project, you can order your packaging and simply have it drop shipped directly to our warehouse or, if you prefer, Blue Tide Designs will source and procure your packaging for you.
The total estimated cost for your project can only be determined once we have all the details of your project (Product, packaging, quantity, labeling requirements, finishing details and required delivery date). Please note that customized ingredients will result in additional costs in some cases. If you will be supplying the raw materials, we do require that you send us a sample of the product and the material safety data sheets for evaluation.
Blue Tide Designs works with several Graphics Design affiliates and labeling partners. We will work directly with you to make your ideas happen or, if you prefer, you can supply us with your label artwork. If you are looking for other options like POP Displays, Boxes, Brochures, Banners, Posters, CD's, then contact Blue Tide Designs for details on how we can help you with your needs. (Note: We must already have a contract for work before we can offer this free service since we do not review non-client labels).
A standard quote can take up to 10 business days to complete depending on the complexity of the formulation. The response time of Suppliers and the receipt of all the required information from you is the determining factor in response time to a request for quote. The completed quote will be emailed or faxed to you and the first quote is free. Please note that any changes to the submitted request for quote, depending on the extent of the changes, may be billed at our regular shop rate. Also please note that reworking a quote several times due to indecision or lack of detailed information will result in delays of project requests. If you do not reply to our queries about your quote request, we will file your request until we hear from you. Note that quotes are only good for 15 days due to material and freight cost fluctuations so if you are not ready to place your order you may want to delay the quote request.
Once you confirm your project details and send us a purchase order, we will email or fax you a purchase order acknowledgement along with a sales contract covering the details of the project so that there are no misunderstandings. We must receive this signed contract and any other required forms along with your down payment, as well as all the other items that you will be supplying before we will put your project on the production schedule. Our normal lead time is 4 - 6 weeks depending on the project, production scheduling issues, supplier delays and size of the job or other events outside of our control.
Blue Tide Designs LLC is very committed to our policy on privacy for our clients. It is our standard operating procedure to sign a Confidentiality Agreement with all new clients before any exchange of information or technical discussions take place. This Confidentiality Agreement should be sent to us before we issue any quote for any type of custom formulation or private labeling project. If you have additional documents that your company requires us to sign then we will need to review and approve those documents prior to starting your project. A Non Disclosure Agreement template will be sent upon request. It is strongly recommended that you review this document and make any changes that you deem relevant.
